1. What we collect
Account details you give us: name, email address, handle, password (stored only as a hash), country, city, bio and profile images. Creator profiles additionally hold the social accounts you choose to link — platform, handle, follower count and engagement figures — plus niches, languages and rates you enter. Brands add company details. Using the platform generates campaigns, applications, contracts, messages, posts, notifications and invoices. Technically, we log IP address, browser type and timestamps for security and rate limiting.
2. How we use it
To run the marketplace: matching creators to campaigns, building media kits, delivering messages and notifications, processing subscription payments, preventing fraud and abuse, and providing support. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your content to train AI models.
3. What other users see
Your profile, media kit and public posts are visible to signed-in users. When you apply to a campaign, your application and profile are shared with the brand that posted it. Messages are visible only to the people in the conversation. Contracts are visible only to their two parties.
4. Payment data
Card and wallet details go directly to our payment providers — Paymob, and Stripe where available — and never touch KO NEKT's servers. We store the invoice: plan, amount, currency, exchange rate applied and the provider's transaction reference.
5. Cookies
KO NEKT sets one cookie: an HTTP-only, signed session cookie that keeps you logged in. There are no advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
6. Retention and your rights
We keep your data while your account is active. You may access and correct your data in settings at any time, and you may request a copy or deletion of your data by writing to support@konekt.live. We answer within 30 days. Contracts and invoices may be retained after deletion where accounting or legal obligations require it. If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully you may complain to your data-protection authority; for Egypt this is the Personal Data Protection Center under Law 151/2020.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored or transmitted in readable form. Sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies. Access to production data is restricted to the people who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure — use a strong password that you use nowhere else.
8. Changes and contact
