1. Who we are and what these terms cover
KO NEKT (konekt.live) is a marketplace where brands post influencer-marketing campaigns and content creators apply to them. These terms are an agreement between you and KO NEKT and govern every use of the platform — the website, the API and any future mobile apps. By creating an account you accept them. If you use KO NEKT on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 to use KO NEKT. Provide accurate information when registering, keep your password secure, and tell us at support@konekt.live if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. An account belongs to one person or one organisation; it may not be shared, sold or transferred. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
3. KO NEKT's role in the marketplace
KO NEKT provides the venue: campaign listings, applications, messaging, media kits and digital contracts. The agreements formed between a brand and a creator — including the fee, deliverables and usage rights recorded in a contract — are between those two parties alone. KO NEKT is not a party to them, does not hold or transfer campaign fees, and does not guarantee that any campaign will run, any payment will be made, or any content will perform. Use reasonable judgement before committing to work with someone: profile statistics are provided by the account holder.
4. Subscriptions
Paid plans (VIP and Premium) are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown on the pricing page in US dollars. Where your payment provider settles in another currency, the converted amount is shown before you commit and again on your invoice. Where the offer applies, the first month of VIP is free once per account: it needs no card, ends after one month, and continues only if you choose to pay. Plans purchased through a provider that supports automatic renewal renew until cancelled; cancelling stops the next charge and your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Where the provider sells fixed terms instead, your plan simply ends unless you renew — nothing is charged automatically, and the checkout screen tells you which applies.
5. Konekts
Konekts are an in-app credit that creators spend to apply to campaigns. They are not money: they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, exchanged or withdrawn, and expire with the account. Allowances refill on the schedule shown for your plan. We may change the Konekt cost of actions or plan allowances prospectively; changes never remove credits you already hold.
6. Content and conduct
You keep ownership of what you post and grant KO NEKT a non-exclusive licence to host, display and distribute it as needed to operate the platform. Do not post content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing or harassing; do not misrepresent your audience, engagement or identity; do not use the platform to send spam or to scrape data. Creators must disclose paid partnerships as required by each social platform's rules and by the advertising regulations that apply to their audience. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Digital contracts
The contract tool records terms the brand and creator agree between themselves and becomes active when both parties sign electronically. You agree that an electronic signature made through your logged-in account has the same effect as a handwritten one. KO NEKT stores the contract for both parties but does not enforce it; disputes under a contract are resolved between its parties.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from settings or by contacting support@konekt.live. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable. Closing an account does not erase obligations under contracts already signed, and invoices already issued remain payable.
9. Liability
KO NEKT is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profits or data, or for the acts of other users — including a brand's failure to pay a creator or a creator's failure to deliver. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid KO NEKT in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect, and continuing to use KO NEKT after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes fall to the competent courts of Cairo. Questions: support@konekt.live.
